This Shipping Policy ("Policy") governs the delivery of goods purchased through the online retail platforms operated by Schweiz Trend Shop, a prospective entity under Swiss law ("we," "us," or "our"), accessible at https://schweiztrendshop.ch (serving the Swiss market) and https://surprey.com (serving the European Union market), collectively referred to as the "Stores." Hosted on the Shopify platform, the Stores offer gifts, toys, and games. This Policy complies with the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO), the Swiss Federal Act on Consumer Information (FCIA), Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive), and Directive 2000/31/EC (E-Commerce Directive). It provides transparent information on shipping procedures, costs, and responsibilities, supplementing our Terms and Conditions and Return and Refund Policy. By placing an order, you ("you" or "Customer") agree to this Policy.

This Policy applies to all orders placed through the Stores, detailing shipping methods, delivery timelines, costs, and related obligations for both consumers (natural persons acting for non-commercial purposes) and business customers.

Consumers resident in Switzerland or the EU benefit from mandatory protections under Article 229 CO (Switzerland) and Article 8 of Directive 2011/83/EU (EU), including clear pre-contractual information on delivery terms, which this Policy fulfills.
1.3 Amendments
We reserve the right to update this Policy to reflect changes in shipping practices or legal requirements. Amendments will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Stores, effective upon posting, per Article 2 CO.
Article 2: Shipping Destinations
2.1 Swiss Store
The Swiss Store (https://schweiztrendshop.ch) delivers to addresses within Switzerland, including all 26 cantons and Liechtenstein, where applicable.
2.2 EU Store
The EU Store (https://surprey.com) delivers to addresses in all European Union member states, as well as select additional countries (e.g., Norway, Iceland) subject to carrier availability. A full list of eligible countries is displayed at checkout.
2.3 Restrictions
We do not ship to PO boxes, military addresses, or regions subject to international sanctions or export restrictions, per Swiss Federal Act on the Control of Dual-Use Goods and EU Regulation (EC) No 428/2009.
Article 3: Shipping Methods and Costs
3.1 Available Methods
We offer the following shipping options, selectable at checkout:
- Standard Shipping: Cost-effective delivery, via Swiss Post for https://schweiztrendshop.ch and various carriers for https://surprey.com.
- Economy Shipping (Switzerland only): Non-urgent delivery via Swiss Post for https://schweiztrendshop.ch.
Specific carriers and options vary by destination and are displayed during order placement.
3.2 Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on order weight, dimensions, destination, and selected method. Costs are displayed at checkout, inclusive of applicable VAT, per the Swiss VAT Act (VATA) and Council Directive 2006/112/EC (EU VAT Directive). Rates:
- Switzerland (https://schweiztrendshop.ch): Economy: 4 CHF; Standard: 7.95 CHF.
- EU (https://surprey.com): Standard: 9 Euro (converted to EUR at checkout).
3.3 Free Shipping
Free standard shipping is offered for orders exceeding 75 CHF for https://schweiztrendshop.ch and 75 EUR for https://surprey.com, as indicated at checkout or in promotional campaigns.
Article 4: Delivery Timelines
4.1 Estimated Delivery
Estimated delivery times, excluding processing, are:
- Switzerland: 1-3 business days (Standard), 3-5 business days (Economy).
- EU: 3-7 business days (Standard).
Timelines commence upon order dispatch and are estimates, not guarantees, subject to carrier performance and destination.
4.2 Order Processing
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days of payment confirmation, excluding weekends and Swiss public holidays (e.g., National Day, August 1). You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking information, where available.
4.3 Delays
We are not liable for delays due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, strikes) or carrier issues, per Article 185 CO. You will be notified of significant delays, and we will work to resolve them promptly.
Article 5: Transfer of Risk
5.1 Risk Transfer
Risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon:
- Delivery to the designated address, or
- Notification of an attempted delivery, if undeliverable, per Article 74 CO and Article 20 of Directive 2011/83/EU.
5.2 Inspection Upon Receipt
You must inspect goods upon delivery and report damage or discrepancies within 7 days via info@schweiztrendshop.ch, per Article 201 CO. Failure to notify may limit remedies, except for consumer protections under EU law.
Article 6: Customs and Import Duties
6.1 EU Deliveries
For EU destinations, prices include EU VAT, and no additional customs duties apply within the EU single market, per Council Directive 2006/112/EC.
6.2 Non-EU Deliveries
For deliveries outside the EU (e.g., Norway), you are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, or clearance fees imposed by the destination country. These are not included in the order total and are payable upon receipt, per Swiss Ordinance on Customs Duties.
6.3 Customs Declarations
We provide accurate customs declarations for international shipments, complying with Swiss and EU export regulations. You must ensure compliance with import requirements in the destination country.
Article 7: Shipping Issues and Resolutions
7.1 Non-Delivered Orders
If an order is not delivered within the estimated timeframe, contact us within 30 days of dispatch at info@schweiztrendshop.ch. We will investigate with the carrier and, if lost, offer a replacement or full refund, including shipping costs, per Article 191 CO.
7.2 Damaged or Incorrect Goods
For damaged or incorrect goods, notify us within 7 days of delivery via info@schweiztrendshop.ch. We will provide a prepaid return label and, upon inspection, offer a replacement or refund, including return shipping costs, per Article 205 CO and Article 3 of Directive 1999/44/EC.
7.3 Undeliverable Orders
If an order is returned as undeliverable (e.g., incorrect address, unclaimed), we will contact you to reship or refund the order, less original and return shipping costs. You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.
Article 8: Returns and Shipping
8.1 Return Shipping
For returns under our Return and Refund Policy (e.g., statutory withdrawal, defective goods), refer to https://schweiztrendshop.ch/returns-policy or https://surprey.com/returns-policy. You bear return shipping costs for non-defective goods, while we cover costs for defective or incorrect items.

For EU or non-EU returns, you must comply with customs requirements and use a trackable shipping method. We recommend retaining proof of return shipment.
